This scenario is designed for NATO play only. It is
for the NACV set. The war has escalated into a true global
conflict. As the NATO commander, you are responsible for
maintaining the convoy routes to France, but also to hold the
northern flank. This will be difficult.

Ivan has circumvented the stalemate in Europe with
his air power. A large portion of the long range bomber force
has been committed to the Northwestern TVD Sector.
A.N.Yefimov, Deputy Minister of Defense and C-in-C Air Forces,
has shrewdly placed Bears, Blackjacks, and Badgers in Norway and
Iceland. His intent is two pronged; 1) interdict the air
freight traffic lanes and 2) interdict the sea convoy lanes. He
has amassed a fearsome array of air and sea power to accomplish
his objective.

You will have strong air power based in the United
States. A carrier force is already at sea in an anticipation of
this move. In addition, the British air forces are attempting
to deflect some of the onslaught. Your primary strength is
stealth. Yefimov does not know where your carrier force is. He
has sent almost his entire force of Okean intelligence
gathering ships out to monitor the convoy and keep a look out
for your carrier.

NATO OBJECTIVE: You must move your convoy(s) to the port of
Caen where remnants of NATO ground forces wait in reserve for
your supplies. You must also keep the air transports moving to
Caen and Gibraltar. Minimum victory conditions call for 4
transports and 2 super tankers to be on station 1 hour Caen.
Also at least 12 C-141 Starlifters must reach Gibraltar safely.
Total victory requires destruction of BCGN steaming south near
Iceland and destruction of a major portion of the bomber force
(48 Planes). THIS IS TOTAL WAR and will require you to spend
assets. Naval air reinforcements are on stand by in Norfolk.
You will need them. Nuclear weapons are present and escalation
may occur.

SCENARIO NOTE: This will require 565K of memory. Don't let
inactivity cause your guard to drop.
