ANW 3.9.4 - Reassigning keys

Gidday Gidday all,

One of the things I always look for in a game is the ability to remap keys to those that work well for the user and not the programmer.

Playing ANW 9.3.4 the following problems arise:

1. My keyboard doesnt have a numeric pad. Using the Fn key to speed up and reduce time, and the like is a pain.
2. Pressing the Ctrl F1 key freezes the game, and I have to click out of the game and back in the game, to get it working again.
3. The use of the Function keys doesnt match the order of the icons in the windows.

Its great zooming in and out with Z and X.

I'd simply like to map other functions to other keys, for example time compression up and down as < and >.

How can I reassign keys for ease of play please?

Unfortunately, re-mapping hotkeys is not possible with Harpoon. Please remember, this game is 26 years old and started out using DOS 3.1

Look on the bright side, this game actually has hotkeys, when so many others have few or none.

Wondered if there was a simple way to adjust the code that someone had worked out over the years. :)
