Cannot change missile target in MP

Game will allow re-targeting of missile in SP, but not in MP

1. Run [PDb] Cannot change missile target (3.9.4).scn in GE in SP
2. Fire one AS-6 at either ship and activate missile radar
3. Missile will plot intercept course
4. Select missile and order it to attack the other ship target with F1
5. Missile will re-plot path to intercept second target in SP
6. This is not possible if the scenario is run in MP from a server. Game will ignore re-targeting of missile and remain locked onto first target.

Centre key [T] inconsistency

When switching between a Map window with Unit Display enabled to a window with Group Display toggled, the user will not be able to centre on the position of the unit selected because the Unit Display has not been toggled for that window

1. Run [PDb] Centre key [T] inconsistency (3.9.3).scn in GE or SE
2. Click and select any unit in the Unit Window
3. Click on Group Window
4. Depress Centre hotkey [T]
5. Group Window will not centre on the position of the unit selected because the Unit Display has not been toggled for that window
6. In H3, the Window would still centre on the position of the individual unit selected even though the window had Display Groups enabled

2. Game runs in 3.9.3

ECM turns itself off in MP

Prowlers on Plotted mission with active ECM will turn itself off in MP when plotted path is reached (Originally reported by Jeronimo Chiecchio)

1. Run [PDb] ECM turns itself off in MP (3.9.4).scn from MP server
2. Launch Prowler
3. Activate ECM for Prowler
4. Plot path for Prowler
5. When plane reaches end of plotted path, ECM returns to passive state

Ferry mission to comm centre

Ferry mission lands at comm centre and not hangar or runway (Originally reported by Freek Schepers)

1. Run [PDb] Ferry mission to comm centre (3.9.4).scn in SE
2. Ferry flight will land at Port Stanley C3I comm centre.

File-Save uses original scenario name

Once a saved game name was used, the File Save command should have simply used it and overwritten the previous saved game file. Instead, a new Saved game file is created using the original *.SCN name as a prefix and *.SAV suffix. (Originally reported by Morphin)

1. Load any scenario file in GE (SE works properly)
2. Order File >> Save As command
3. Save As dialogue window appears
4. Save game under any name
5. Order File >> Save command
6. New saved game file is created with using the original scenario name as a prefix and *.SAV as a suffix

Ghost sessions in MP II

Ghost sessions in MP continue to run after all players have left the session. This ties up processing power as the sessions do not usually expire on their own.

1. Setup MP server in a reduced window with LoneWolf.scn
2. Create session
3. Select Lone Wolf from Stand-alone battleset
4. Scenario fails to load fully
5. Select quit
6. Log back onto server lobby to see that Ghost session remains

Fueling operations limited in number

Plane will not begin to re-fuel until other previously ordered operations are complete

1. Run [PDb] Fueling operations limited in number (3.9.4).SAV in GE with PlayersDB Aug 1, 2008 at 1:1 compression
2. Order Vulcan bomber B066 to receive fuel from Tanker T065
3. Vulcan will not begin to re-fuel until other previously ordered operations are complete

Generic strikes seek additional targets 3

Bombers will strike N, then S, then W and hang there

1. Run [PDb] Generic strikes seek additional targets 3 (3.9.4).SCN in GE
2. Bombers will strike N, then S, then W and hang there. Some will go East to attack target, but most will just loiter even though mission states that they attacking final target

Ground strike fails to execute

Ground strike fails to execute with 3.9.4 but has no problem firing in 3.9.3

1. Load [PDb] Ground strike fails to execute (3.9.4).scn in SE
2. Activate Show All
3. Ekranoplan from Gorner side will not close to launch nuke missiles at target with 3.9.4
4. Mission executes successfully in 3.9.3

Group icon moves without ships

Group icon will arrive even though all ship components are trapped by ice

Guns will not fire at aircraft

Mission-directed 40mm guns will fire at aircraft but 120mm guns will not unless manually ordered to do so (Originally reported by Freek Schepers)

1. Run [PDb] Guns will not fire at aircraft (3.9.4).scn in GE
2. DD Friesland will fire 40mm guns at aircraft but 120mm guns will not fire. Both guns are rated for a/c. Guns can be fired manually.

Intermittent values rejected

Some intermittent values for EmCon window rejected

1. Run [PDb] Intermittent values rejected (3.9.4).scn in SE
2. Drag+select both ships
3. Hit F9
4. Attempt to set both ships to Intermittent Active sonar value of 50 seconds Active
5. Value will be rejected
